How we solve real study challenges

Examples of the problems sponsors bring to us, and how we approach them.

Oncology · Phase II

Reaching a rare patient population on time

Challenge. A narrow eligibility profile and a small national patient pool put enrolment at risk.

Approach. We mapped referral pathways with our recruitment software, added two high-volume centres and tracked enrolment weekly against site-level targets.

Result. The study reached its enrolment target and moved to database lock on schedule.

Medical device · Cardiology

A multi-country device study with a single point of contact

Challenge. A device manufacturer needed ethics and authority approvals in several countries with different procedures.

Approach. Our regulatory and clinical operations teams ran submissions in parallel, trained all sites on a common manual and centralised device accountability.

Result. All countries were approved and activated within a coordinated window, with no device-accountability findings.

Pediatrics · Infectious disease

Family-centred consent in a paediatric study

Challenge. Parents and children needed clear information and flexible visit schedules to stay in the study.

Approach. We developed age-appropriate information materials, simplified visit logistics and trained site teams in paediatric consent.

Result. Retention exceeded the sponsor's expectations throughout follow-up.

Case studies are illustrative summaries; client names and confidential details are omitted.
